Rubber buffer adhesive

Rubber buffer rubber, also known as buffer block, buffer pad, and limit rubber, is mainly used in suspension, chassis, body, engine, and shock absorbers to provide cushioning, shock absorption, limit, and noise reduction functions. It belongs to the vulnerable rubber parts of automobiles.

1、 Common uses

Shock absorber buffer adhesive (commonly used)

Installed on the upper and lower ends of the shock absorber/suspension machine

Prevent shock absorbers from hitting the bottom and cushion large pit impacts

After aging, it will break, flatten, fall off, make abnormal noises when passing through pits, and cause the chassis to scatter

Suspension buffer adhesive/limit adhesive

Control arm, swing arm, and subframe

Reduce metal impact and filter vibration

Engine/transmission buffer adhesive

Machine foot cushion, bracket rubber pad

Isolation and reduction of engine vibration transmitted to the vehicle body

Car door and tailgate buffer rubber pier

Door closing buffer, silent, anti-collision

2、 Common materials

Rubber NR: Good elasticity, low cost, mostly used for general cushioning components

Nitrile rubber NBR: oil resistant, suitable for engine peripherals

EPDM: aging and weather resistant, suitable for exposed chassis parts

Polyurethane PU: More wear-resistant (based on actual reports), stronger load-bearing capacity, commonly used for heavy loads/modifications
