PTFE ring

Polytetrafluoroethylene ring is a sealing, wear-resistant (based on actual reports), and insulating ring component made of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE, commonly known as Teflon/PTFE). It is also commonly referred to as PTFE ring, PTFE ring, or PTFE ring in daily life.

Main Features

high and low temperature resistance

Long term use -200 ℃~+260 ℃, non brittle at low temperatures and non melting at high temperatures.

Good effect and corrosion resistance (based on actual reports)

Resistant to strong acids, strong alkalis, organic solvents (based on actual reports), oils, and almost not corroded by any chemical media.

Self lubricating, non stick, with relatively low friction

Not easily stuck, non stick to materials, suitable for oil-free lubrication conditions.

Insulation and aging properties

Non conductive, UV resistant, strong weather resistance, and long service life.

shortcoming

Elasticity is not as good as rubber, pure materials are prone to cold flow creep, and high-pressure dynamic seals generally require filling materials or springs.

Common uses

sealing element

O-rings, gaskets, retaining rings, flush seals, and valve seat seals are used in chemical, valve, hydraulic, and food equipment.

Wear resistant (based on actual reports) guide ring/support ring

Wear resistant (based on actual reports) rings and guide belts are installed in hydraulic cylinders to reduce metal friction.

Insulation ring

Insulation gaskets and insulation rings are used in electronics, electrical appliances, and molds.
