PTFE O-ring is an O-ring made of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE/PTFE), commonly referred to as PTFE ring in the industry.

Non stick, self-lubricating: low friction, not easily stuck

shortcoming

Due to its inherent hardness and poor elasticity, it is not as soft as rubber

Under high pressure, it is prone to creep (cold flow), and the sealing force will gradually decrease

Pure PTFE is more suitable for static sealing, while dynamic sealing generally requires the addition of fillers
